1) Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details (e.g., phone number or email for sign-in), display name, avatar, age confirmation (17+), and any profile fields you choose to add.
- Content you create (bets, messages, reactions, usernames, friend lists).
- Support requests or feedback sent to us.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and app identifiers, OS and app version, IP address, general location (derived from IP), language, time zone, and device settings.
- Usage data (feature taps, screens viewed, interactions, notifications opened).
- Diagnostics and crash data.
- We do not collect precise GPS unless you explicitly enable a feature that needs it.
Information from others
- Service providers (hosting, analytics, SMS/OTP, push notifications).
- Friends who interact with you (e.g., challenges sent/accepted).
We do not collect payment data because there is no real-money functionality.
2) How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Services (auth, challenge flow, odds display, results, leaderboards, moderation, anti-abuse).
- Operate notifications and communications (bet updates, settlements, invites).
- Debug, analyze, and develop new features (including A/B tests).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- De-identified or aggregated data may be used for analytics and product improvement.
3) Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information with:
- Service providers under contract to process data for us (cloud hosting, analytics, SMS/OTP, error logging, content moderation).
- Other users when you use social features (e.g., your username or avatar on a leaderboard, your bet proposals to friends).
- Legal and safety purposes (compelled disclosures; to protect users, the public, or Bluebird).
- Corporate transactions (merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets), where data may be transferred as part of the transaction subject to this Policy.
4) Simulated gambling & informational odds
The Services support simulated, peer-to-peer challenges with fictional Credits that have no cash value and cannot be redeemed. Odds and lines are informational and may be incomplete or delayed.
5) Your choices & rights
- Delete bets / Delete account: available in Settings. We process deletions within a reasonable period (typically 30–90 days). Backups and minimal security logs may be retained for up to 180 days (or longer if required by law).
- Notifications: you can disable push notifications in device settings.
- Access / Correction: email [email protected] to request a copy or correction of your data. We may ask you to verify your identity.
California residents (CPRA)
California residents have the right to know, access, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of their personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. Submit requests through the in-app deletion controls or by emailing [email protected]. We will verify requests using account credentials or reasonable matching.
EU/UK users (if applicable in future)
If we make the Services available in the EU/UK, Bluebird will act as data controller. You may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, object, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Our lawful bases typically include contract, legitimate interests (product operation and security), consent (where required), and legal obligation.
6) Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Typical retention: active account data; then 30–90 days to process deletion; minimal logs and backups up to 180 days; longer where required (e.g., security, fraud prevention, legal holds).
7) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (TLS in transit, access controls, monitoring). No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8) Children
The Services are not for users under 17 (or the age required by your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
9) International transfers
We process data primarily in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, you consent to transferring and processing your information in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws.
10) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
